How many times have we heard that? We have been in the leisure business for many years and know that selling a static caravan privately is very difficult. It certainly isn’t like selling a car – there is no mass market of buyers, a static caravan isn’t an essential purchase and there is little information to base a valuation on. Static caravans tend to take time to sell and the costs can mount up. Add to that the worry of strangers coming to see it and whether they are genuine buyers and it becomes a bigger worry than it should be.
